
Program Overview
Cooking classes involve hands on cooking. Each month will have a new theme & educational topic. Recipes are nutrient-packed, teach a variety of kitchen skills and cooking techniques, and are chosen to be low cost while keeping plenty of flavors. Each month will be tailored to the group’s needs and interests.
The final class will take place at No Frills ® for a grocery store tour. This tour will allow participants to walk through the grocery store to better understand the supermarket layout design, marketing strategies, label reading and understanding nutrient content claims.
