This program is a 2-hour interactive class for anyone at risk of or living with diabetes looking to learn about how to prevent their risk for developing diabetes, delay the progression of diabetes or to improve their current blood sugar control.
This small group is led by a Registered Dietitian/Certified Diabetes Educator in a relaxed environment who will help explore the topic of diabetes and nutrition; topics may include what are carbohydrates, how to read nutrition labels, understand how food impacts our blood sugar and overall health, and setting goals to build healthy habits. You help decide the direction this class takes based on the interest of the participants in each group!
