POSITION: Kinesiologist – Registered   

2 positions at .80FTE (4 days/week)

NSFHT is expanding clinical services to seniors, in partnership with the North Simcoe Muskoka Program (NSM SGS), through the Seniors CARE Exercise Program.  These positions are temporary part-time to March 31, 2020 with possibility of renewal.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications;

  • Degree in Kinesiology, registered and in good standing with the Ontario Kinesiology Association;
  • Work as part of a growing, collaborative, interprofessional team to implement, provide services and evaluate seniors care;
  • Ability to collaborate with members of the NSM SGS Program, the NSFHT and other key partners to deliver clinical services to frail seniors and, as appropriate, their caregiver;
  • Able to work competently with various software programs such as, Electronic Medical Record’s (EMR).

POSITION: Nurse Educator – Registered Nurse

1 Full Time Maternity Leave – up to 18 months

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications;

  • Degree/diploma in Nursing, registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses Association;
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral and an ability to interact with a team using various methods with the ability to work independently and in group settings;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to self-direct and further the promotion of the involved programs;
  • Demonstrate ability in problem solving and decision making skills and advocate for patient needs;
  • Ability to work competently with various software programs such as; Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) with preference given to OPTIMED – Accuro;
  • CRE preferred but all/some FHT programs may be supported dependent on skills set of applicant(s).
